About the role

 

We are looking for a Web Architect working in a team developing and improving applications and services using Agile methodology, preferably Scrum and being an active part of the web engineering community team.


Key Tasks & Responsibilities:

 

  • Technical expert for all operational, development and deployment tasks related with frontend including architecture, improvement of quality and development of web applications and proofs of concept in new technologies. Being able to:
    • Follow best practices and code standards.
    • Solve complex operational issues, performance management and problems involving multiple technical domains. 
    • Keep our technological stack up to date
  • Design and development of low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications.
  • Git.
  • Support timely delivery of technical solutions writing reusable, testable, and efficient code.
  • Refactoring
  • Definition / construction of CI / CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, Sonar, Kiuwan
  • Unit tests implementation
  • Working with backend engineers to design and consume APIs.
  • Diagnosing and resolving performance problems in frontend applications.
  • Metrics application to monitor performance and measure key project criteria. 
  • System documentation. 
  • Establishes and maintains security, integrity, and business continuity
  • Guides analysts and rest of developers on application of specialized knowledge to coding, testing, implementation, and documentation projects

 

What do we need?

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree / Certificate of Higher Education (HNC)
  • Working to Professional & Technical certifications
  • At least 6 years of experience in frontend development.
  • Strong knowledge of web platform fundamentals: HTML, JavaScript and CSS.
  • Professional experience in latest Angular versions is a must
  • Experience and/or knowledge in React.
  • Nice to have: knowledge of backend development: JEE, Spring Boot..
  • Customer centric. Enjoy understanding customers’ needs and defining actions to improve their satisfaction
  • High capacity to influence and confident communicator
  • Applied Thinking with broad perspective, getting to root causes.
  • Creative and innovative.
