As we focus on enhancing our internal capabilities in AI, Machine Learning, and Generative AI, the role of an AI Solution Lead becomes pivotal. This role will support our technology department in driving innovation, improving customer experiences, and simplifying our operations through advanced AI solutions.
The Technical Product Owner will be responsible for leading the development of large-scale AI business solutions that meet customer needs. This role involves overseeing the entire lifecycle of AI projects, from identifying needs to evaluating results. The Technical Product Owner will work with various stakeholders to ensure that AI solutions are delivered on time and align with Vodafone's business strategy.
Your Responsibilities:
- Strategic Vision & Roadmap: Define the vision, strategic roadmap, and capabilities for our AI, Cloud, and Business Intelligence solutions, ensuring they are tightly aligned with Vodafone's overarching goals.
- Stakeholder Alignment: Work closely with a wide range of stakeholders to ensure that solution trains and all involved parties are fully aligned with the product vision and objectives.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Coordinate and manage development progress with external suppliers and multiple Agile Release Trains (ARTs), ensuring efficient and timely delivery.
- Value Optimization: Apply deep knowledge of Lean and Scrum Master delivery practices to continuously optimize the flow of value throughout the product lifecycle.
- Prioritization & Execution: Collaborate effectively with product and system owners to prioritize AI, Cloud, and BI solutions, ensuring their correct sequencing and successful implementation.
What you bring
Must-Haves:
- Exceptional English Communication: Demonstrated excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal, crucial for thriving in our international company environment.
- Significant Coordination & Requirements Expertise: Extensive experience in coordinating technical teams, leading complex requirement gathering processes, and translating business needs into clear, actionable product backlogs and technical specifications.
- Proven Project Coordination Experience: A strong track record of coordinating projects in at least one of the following areas:
- Projects involving the implementation of Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning (AI/ML) solutions.
- Cloud Migration initiatives.
- Business Intelligence (BI) projects.
- Cloud Platform Knowledge: Solid understanding and practical experience with cloud platforms, specifically Google Cloud, or other major providers such as AWS or Azure.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Data Tooling Proficiency: Experience with various data processing, storage, and management tools (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, SQL, data visualization platforms).
- Understanding of DevOps practices and tools for continuous integration and deployment.
