Vodafone Group is launching its new technological HUB (MSH), an international center of excellence dedicated to research and development of technical solutions, such as Secure Networks, 5G and 6G development, Open RAN, IoT, MPN & MEC and UCC for Vodafone Business, platforms and enterprise solutions. Come and join us to create the future together!

 

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Interpret business requirements and translate them into deployable solution
  • Provide estimates for the user stories assigned and complete the development within timelines
  • Prepare LLD and document the implemented solution. Quality Code Development, Testing & Quality Assurance. 
  • Adhere to technical constraints laid out by Architecture Design
  • Adhere to coding standards and best practices laid out by Technical Implementation Standards
  • Unit testing the output of their own work and work along with QA team to fix defects
  • Help in code reviews and setting standards
  • Mentor and help other juniors for technical tasks

 

Must Have Skills:

  • Very good (hands-on) experience in Java 11 or above version
  • Very good (hands-on)  experience in Java Spring, Sping Boot, Rest API Development framework
  • Good knowledge working in Docker, Microservices, Kafka and cloud-based environment
  • Experience and Knowledge of Unit Testing 
  • Experience in using SonarQube and/or similar code quality tools
  • Knowledgeable in code reviews, documentations etc.
  • Experience in Agile (SCRUM/Kanban) teams
  • Knowledge of ticketing system (Jira, Remedy), Excellent communication skills
  • Good experience / exposure in AWS Cloud & CI-CD-CT 
  • Hands-on experience on the tools- Eclipse IDE, Maven, Jenkins, Git
  • KEYWORDS : Java Backend Developer, Java Microservices, JAVA RES API Development, Java Development

 

Good to Have skills:

  • Experience in building CI CD
  • Experience in using Splunk
  • Experience in code optimization
