Vodafone Group is launching its new technological HUB (MSH), an international center of excellence dedicated to research and development of technical solutions, such as Secure Networks, 5G and 6G development, Open RAN, IoT, MPN & MEC and UCC for Vodafone Business, platforms and enterprise solutions.

This is a varied role and we are looking for candidates a with a broad range of skills. Solutions can
include:
- Python coding
- Device and sensor integration
- Web development
- Embedded or single-board development
- Networking protocols including IoT and specialist protocols
- Video analytics, OpenCV etc.
- Customer consulting
- Software and systems design
- Code control


The more of these boxes you can tick, the better, but most important is the ability to apply and learn
skills as required for a project. We want people who enjoy solving real-world problems. You may be
working as an individual contributor or as part of a team.
 

What you bring: 

  • Software development especially Python
  • Single-board and embedded software devices
  • Networking and connectivity (TCP, UDP, MQTT,CoAP, HTTP, cellular, LoRaWAN etc.)
  • VMs, docker etc.
  • Deep learning and video analytics
  • An appetite and ability to learn new skills and technologies
  • Advanced level of English
