As an IoT Data Visualisation engineer, you will be the subject matter expert for data visualization within Vodafone IoT. The role will involve working closely with product management, data science and engineering to create analytics and insight products for the Internet of Things.

 

You will lead the creation and optimization of interactive dashboards to present results to customers and internal business users through a web portal as a part of Vodafone’s market leading range of products in IoT. These dashboards will help users to manage large global estates of connected products, deliver services to their end users or make business decisions based on data and insight. 

 

This role will own the way that our customers interact with their data, understanding how they interpret it and how to communicate messages most effectively so that they can take effective action to achieve the outcomes they want. It will consider how the visualisation tools interact with the database, setting best practice and defining how data should be organized and structured so as to optimize performance of the solution. 

 

What you bring: 

  • Deep expertise in Tableau with certification.
  • Creation of interactive visualisations in the web portal using Tableau.
  • Definition of best practice for data visualisation and dashboard design-
  • Definition of the data structures and relationships needed to support visualisations and user journeys.
  • Interaction with internal and external stakeholders to identify how best to communicate using data.
  • Interaction with engineering to deliver solutions.
  • Knowledge of analytics, IoT or telecoms is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication.
  • Advanced level of English.
