About this Role

The Platform Specialist is responsible for the day-to-day management, governance, optimisation, and support of the Highspot platform. The role ensures users can access the right content, training, and guidance at the right time while maintaining platform integrity, content governance and compliance.

Working closely with Content Owners, Sales Enablement, Product Marketing, Learning functions, markets, and business stakeholders, the Platform Specialist acts as the operational owner of the platform, driving an excellent user experience and ensuring the platform remains the trusted source of truth for sales enablement.

What you’ll do

Key accountabilities and decision ownership

 User Management

  • Administer and maintain the sales enablement platform, including a user provisioning, de-provisioning, access requests, and permissions, while ensuring data security and compliance requirements are fulfilled.
  • Troubleshoot access and permission issues.
  • Support licence management and utilisation tracking.

 

Content Governance

  • Maintain content standards, metadata, taxonomy, and tagging structures.
  • Archive outdated content and support content lifecycle management.
  • Ensure alignment with governance policies and naming conventions.
  • Utilise reporting and data analytics to monitor and improve content health and discoverability.

 

Stakeholder Management

  • Act as the primary point of contact for platform-related enquiries.
  • Collaborate with Sales Enablement, Product Marketing, learning functions and local and market stakeholders.

Core competencies, knowledge and experience

  • Strong stakeholder management, relationship-building, and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Highly self-motivated with the ability to self-manage, work independently, and proactively solve problems in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to delivering world-class customer service, with a customer-first mindset and a focus on resolving issues efficiently and effectively.
  • Strong analytical and data-driven mindset, with experience producing platform reports, interpreting insights, and making recommendations to improve adoption and performance
  • Exceptional attention to detail, with a commitment to data accuracy, governance, and continuous improvement.
  • Strong troubleshooting and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to identify root causes, develop practical solutions, and drive issues through to resolution.

Desirable: Experience using enterprise platforms such as CRM, Learning Management Systems (LMS), Content Management Systems (CMS), Sales Enablement, or collaboration tools.

 

Must have technical / professional qualifications:

  • Strong stakeholder management and written communication skills, with the ability to build positive working relationships across multiple teams
  • Highly organised and self-motivated, with the ability to self-manage workload, prioritise tasks, and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate issues, identify root causes, and recommend practical solutions
  • Commitment to delivering world-class customer service, ensuring a positive and professional user experience
