STEP project is an innovative V2X & IoT project inside the Product Engineering team within Connectivity and Solutions is a group of experienced and talented developers building applications for IoT. We support Vodafone Business to become a leading provider of IoT end-to-end solutions globally. 


As part of the Backend team, we are looking for an experienced Technical Product Owner. You will work within a multi-disciplinary Agile team, everyday learning something new from your peers, with space to perform your own proof-of-concepts to learn new technologies, as well as collaborating in new opportunities with global and local impact. 

 

As Technical Product Owner in the Backend team, your daily activities will look like:

 

  • Being part of agile implementations and efficient utilization of CI/CD solutions for iterative delivery and automated solutions.
  • Pick up new concepts and technologies fast, finding the best fit for the problem at hand.
  • Design and implementation of low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications.
  • Support timely delivery of technical solutions writing reusable, testable, and efficient code.
  • Develop the future of the backend business needs in STEP.
  • Cooperate with Backend Developers, Scrum Master, Architects, Testers, Infrastructure Engineers, and other roles that are part of the Agile backend team.
  • Cooperate with Product owners in the rest of the STEP teams to be align on the Product Roadmap.
  • Optimize application performance, reusability, and scalability.

 

What you will bring?

 

  • Proven experience of unit & integration testing frameworks. Good understanding of Quality Assurance Processes such Unit & Integration Testing Frameworks for Acceptance criteria.
  • Creating Technical requisition specification experience.
  • Development experience as a full stack (Java Spring Boot and React).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools, such as Jenkins, Nexus, SonarQube, GitLab.
  • Creative thinking, positive attitude, and innovative ideas
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
