- For the role of Specialist VAS Design and Engineering we are looking for candidates with a broad range of skills. The responsibilities include:
- You will engage in the analysis, design, software development, and build end-to-end services and products within the dynamic area of unified communications with direct customer impact.
- You will be part of a high skilled team comprised by software engineers and network engineers tasked with the objective to address both commercial and technical projects in both the design and implementation phases, ensuring the certification of the solutions and the compliance with the highest standards of performance and quality.
- You will cooperate in intra and cross-group activities, working closely with multiple stakeholders and various Engineering departments, driving projects forward and ensuring seamless integration across differet teams.
- Engage in converting customer requirements into technical specification and in developing the end-to-end solution, leveraging the latest network and software technologies and industry best practises.
What you bring:
- University degree in Telecommunication, Electronics or Information Technology.
- Deep knowledge of IMS networks, voice and data signalling topology, interfaces, protocols and of network tracing tools
- Strong knowledge and developent experience with programming language/frameworks in Java, Python, Node.js and in services & architectural design using micro-services, REST APIs.
- Solid foundation in DevOps tools and Agile methodologies, Continuous Integration & Delivert, GitHub etc.
- Very good knowledge of virtualization, Docker and Kubernetes technologies.
- Strong knowledge on Unix/Linux (shell scripting)
- Capability of planning in advance possible issues which might arise during the project and already preparing possible workaround solutions
- Advanced level of English

- A mindset of continuous learning, staying updated with evolving technologies and best industry practices, willing to share knowledge and learn from others.
- Strong communication skills, proven experience and attitude to work in multinational and multicultural teams and matrix environments using agile methodologies
- Ability to innovate, to work creatively and find solutions to complex problems. Passionate about technology and curipus about how things work. Likes to build things and make them work.
- Deep knowledge of core network architectures and protocols, with specific reference to the IMS networks and Unified Communications.
- Experience in developing well-documented software, RESRful API's, etc. with build tools in DevOps model.
- Knowledge of Cloud Native environments such as Docker technology and Kubernetes
