Role purpose:    
A Quality Control Specialist is responsible for maintaining M-Pesa quality control processes, analyzing the results, and giving feedback and guidance to Business. Must M-Pesa Business processes are documented regularly as part of Business Transformation. Ensure the M-Pesa staff follows the set processes and adheres to best Business practices and quality standards by Ensuring legal and AML obligations are followed and ensuring compliance with regulatory bodies and with health and safety guidelines. Keeping accurate documentation and performing M-Pesa statistical analysis.

 

Key Accountabilities:

Impact on the business
•    Collect and analyze M-Pesa Product&Service communication content samples to evaluate quality for better customer experience and Manage KYC updating processes and Rules in conjunction with other process owners (GSM, M-Pesa Compliance & Sales, etc).
•    Collaborates with stakeholders to maintain and update Business Process and documentation and Ensure Quality Control Frameworks and ISO are implemented/Certified.
•    Conduct routine system audits of production processes and quality control systems.
•    Review and analyze quality data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
•    Document and report system audit findings, including any deviations from quality standards.
•    Implement corrective actions to address identified quality issues.
•    Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and processes.
•    Prepare detailed system audit reports for management review
•    Coordinate regularly Business Transformation process by Analyzing and update the existing workflows, Business processes for the whole M-Pesa division by engaging with the various business units to improve, modify or eliminate existing processes/workflows and implement Business efficiencies.
•    Produce reports to Management regarding nonconformance of Product&Service or processes, root cause analyses, or quality trends and Conduct employee training on Quality Controls and Business Transformation Processes.
•    Inspection and Testing: Regular checks to identify defects or deviations from standards, implementing measures to address any identified issues.

 

What we are looking in you:

•    Degree in Quality Management, Information System  Audit, Content Management or related field.

•    A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in Quality Control.

•    Excellent interpersonal and good communication skills which include the ability to teach and explain methodologies.
•    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
•    Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
•    Experience with quality control procedures and auditing processes.
•    Good communication and teamwork abilities
