We are looking for data and business enthusiasts to join our BI, Data & Analytics team in Vodafone Italy!

Whether it is by designing and producing immersive management dashboards or by prototyping and delivering predictive and prescriptive AI and analytics capabilities, you will help us shape the way we work, the way our world moves forward, and, ultimately, how people use data and technology for the greater good.

You will get hands-on experience on multiple data analytics technologies and languages, including but not limited to: Microstrategy, Qlik, Power BI, Tableau, Google Cloud Platform, Oracle, SAS, KNIME, Python, and SQL.

Key accountabilities and decision ownership:

• Define BI Data & Analytics strategy for a Business Unit within Vodafone Italy and deliver it by coordinating the work of multiple on-shore and/or off-shore resources.
• Autonomously make priority choices in liaison with the business partners, assessing business benefit.
• Lead the Design, development, and deployment of management dashboards and analytics products that support Vodafone’s decision-making.
• Anticipate business needs that require analytics and prototype predictive or prescriptive data products based on machine learning algorithms and recommend scaling strategies.
• Run ad-hoc data analyses to diagnose business opportunities and recommend actions through effective data storytelling techniques.

Core competencies, knowledge and experience:

• You have a STEM or Economics Degree, you have passion for Data Analytics, Statistics and Business management
• You display Growth mindset in your previous experience and are willing to sharpen your Data Analytics technical skills
• You have Financial acumen and show strong curiosity in Vodafone’s business
• You have the ability to influence other stakeholderss and to be an effective team player.
• You are able to translate complex analytics concepts into business-relevant language for your partners
• You are fluent in English
• You can navigate a complex organisation in a multi-cultural environment
• You feel at ease balancing priorities and managing ambiguous requests

Must have technical / professional qualifications:

• You have previous stakeholder management work experience or show clear signs of potential in managing stakeholders.
• Earlier experience in any of the following tools, platforms or programming languages is highly recommended: Microstrategy, Qlik, Power BI, Tableau, Google Cloud Platform, Oracle, SAS, KNIME, Python, and SQL.

• Unlocked measurable business value in terms of incremental revenues or efficiencies
