Client Sales Manager
Location: Location Independent (South Region) - travelling required 3-4 days per week.
Salary: Excellent basic salary plus bonus and Vodafone benefits
Working Hours: Full time 37.5 hours per week – Mon to Fri

The Client Sales Manager will be the lead Client Sales Manager for Defence, will be responsible for managing contracts and relationships within Defence. As part of their role, the Client Sales Manager will service existing relationships, hunt for new opportunities, develop new business and identify and propose capability from Vodafone’s solutions.
What you’ll do
• Be the lead Client Sales Manager within Defence, and is accountable for coaching and mentoring the other Client Sales Managers.
• Ensure that the other Client Sales managers are delivering against the defence strategy
• Manage a diverse range of stakeholders across the Defence Account and internally within Vodafone, acting as part of the escalation process, implementing and managing local contingency plans to deal with internal/external business issues that impact upon revenue, cost and margin.
• Deliver sales briefings remotely, at a Vodafone Secure Site or at an customer premises within the United Kingdom being capable and credible to present to senior customer stakeholders.
• Keep ahead of industry trends and client needs to anticipate and address potential challenges in acquisition activities, and use this data to continually develop the Defence Strategy
• Build a qualified pipeline across the Defence portfolio.
• Exceed Net Promoter Scores (NPS) targets for all customers.
• Produce close plans, prepare customer proposals and manage the full lifecycle of the sale from won to transition and into delivery and beyond.
Who you are
• Strong communication skills to guide, influence and convince others (including customers, partners and third parties).
• Excellent external communication is required (up to CxO level).
• Negotiation skills internally and externally at senior levels.
• Judgement based on analysis of factual and qualitative information in complicated or new situations.
• Expert knowledge on the Defence Direct sector in order to articulate Defence requirements into technical outputs. As well as previously managed stakeholders within the Defence Direct arena, including Support Functions and Specialists Units.
Security Clearance: This position requires the ability to obtain a UK Developed Vetting (DV) clearance.
