Salary:  Excellent basic salary plus bonus and Vodafone benefits

What you’ll do

As Commercial Manager – In Life, you will be responsible for articulating drivers of and optimising SoHo Bad Debt performance, finding data-led opportunities to improve performance and optimise decisioning and in-life outcomes for customers working with BCRC strategy owners, and SoHo trading, channels, propositions and Finance to deliver the P&L.

 

  • You will deliver the SoHo Bad Debt P&L.
  • You will make data-led recommendation and formulate profitable commercial proposals to optimise performance and overall profitability for Vodafone, balancing bad debt with wider profitability. 
  • You will set and deliver the roadmap of interventions to optimise bad debt; balancing Credit Risk, Collections and Trading initiatives. 
  • You will utilise MI & analytics and collaborate with VBU Finance to articulate and rive SoHo Bad Debt performance. 
  • You will partner BCRC with VBU Segment teams and Commercial Finance. 

 

Who you are

Essential:
 

  • You will be a highly numerate, analytical thinker with the ability to understand complex financial and commercial scenarios and distil them into simple concepts. 
  • You will have proven communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into insights/recommendations and to uphold challenge and discussion with senior stakeholders from across the business. 
  • You will have experience business partnering cross-functionally to deliver mutual benefits, holding stakeholders to account. 
  • You will be a ‘big picture’ thinker, comfortable spinning multiple plates and have the ability to prioritise appropriately.
  • You will be a strong individual contributor, with the ability to delivery through collaboration with other teams as necessary. 



Desirable:
 

  • You will have an analytical/commercial background, ideally within the financial services or telecoms industries
