Role Purpose:
As Cyber Security Lead, you will be part of the Group Cyber Security team, supporting the Cyber Senior Manager, Vodafone Investments, in managing mergers, acquisitions, and divestment projects while driving the commercialization of cyber security propositions for Vodafone Investments.
We are looking for a highly organized professional with a background in telecommunications and/or cyber security, strong customer management skills, and a proven track record in delivery. In this role, you will be responsible for managing customer and partner relationships, developing security services for Vodafone Investments, and overseeing the operational execution of cyber security strategies across our M&A and divestiture portfolio.
What you’ll do
Key Accountabilities & Decision Ownership
Acquisitions, Mergers, and Divestments
- Lead the execution of Group Cyber Security strategies for all acquisitions, mergers, and divestitures, ensuring alignment with defined playbooks and policies.
- Support M&A due diligence processes, ensuring compliance with Vodafone’s cyber strategy and security policies.
- Define and drive the programme direction and roadmap in collaboration with Vodafone Investments, influencing key decisions to achieve programme benefits and outcomes.
Commercialisation of Cyber Security Services
- Partner with Vodafone Investments to support investment decisions, assess commercial opportunities, and evaluate market readiness (including regulatory considerations and senior management buy-in).
- Work with market teams and leadership to develop an effective go-to-market strategy, covering products, services, distribution, business processes, contracts, and compliance.
- Lead, inspire, and collaborate with internal technology teams, working cross-functionally with Vodafone Investments, Finance, Brand, and Commercial Management to ensure the success of new cyber security service propositions.

- Extensive experience managing complex, cross-functional, technical, and business transformation programmes.
- Highly collaborative, with the ability to align stakeholders, navigate ambiguity, and drive progress.
- Strong leadership presence, credible at senior management level, and trusted within programme/project teams.
- Financial and commercial acumen, with the ability to develop, evaluate, and review business cases and benefits.
- Deep understanding of fixed networks, internet, mobile technologies, enterprise IT environments, cyber security operations, and security tooling.
- Customer-focused mindset, with strong communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working in a complex, multinational environment.
Must-Have Technical / Professional Qualifications
- Project/Programme Management Certifications: PRINCE2, MSP, APM, PMI
- Agile Delivery Certifications: Leading SAFe, SAFe for Teams, Scrum Master, Product Owner, Lean Portfolio Management
