What you’ll do
As Disclosures Officer you will work as part of the Government Security Team, to provide support to government agencies, law enforcement and other agencies in the prevention/detection of crime space, providing vital information in line with legally binding requests and compliance with Vodafone policies.
- You will manage obligation and SLAs laid down under the Investigatory Powers Act on a daily, 24/7 basis.
- You will provide expert 24/7 assistance and advice to Blue Light Services and appropriate Vodafone departments.
- You will arrange, liaise and deliver bespoke training modules to law enforcement through Teams meetings, in person or at industry events.
- You will provide support the Government Security Testing Team to highlight data discrepancies in new and amended products to ensure continued accurate comms data is provided.
- You will manage the error process, providing details to the Investigatory Powers Commissioner’s Office in the agreed timeframe and highlight internally for training or technical help.
- You will influence teams that are not directly accountable for disclosure where assistance is required rapidly in high profile incidents and cases.
- You will ensure compliance with, but not exclusive to the Investigatory Powers Act, Data Protection Act, Telecommunications Restriction Orders, Court Orders, Public Emergency Call Services, Cloud Act – Crime (Overseas Production Orders) Act 2019 and Vodafone Group Discretionary Assistance policy.
Who you are
Essential:
- You will have the ability to prioritise assistance for National Security and life at risk investigations.
- You will be calm working under pressure with law enforcement investigating serious crimes including Child Sexual Exploitation, murder, terrorism and drug trafficking.
- You will have experience analysing complex data to deliver succinct clear responses to queries.
- You will be a clear communication with the ability to deliver training to multiple levels of law enforcement.
- You will have the ability to develop and maintain an excellent network of contacts across the Vodafone business, law enforcement and government.
- You will be eligible for SC clearance.
Desirable:
- Bond Solon Court Room (or equivalent) skills.
- Bond Solon (or equivalent) IPA training.
