What you’ll do

Reporting into the EDGE lead, this role is key in exploring opportunity for disruption and acting as the focal point for disruption for _VOIS and its partners. It will involve the identification, incubation and embedding of innovative technologies such as AI, VR and other digital applications to secure Vodafone’s market leadership in digital solutions and future technologies.
The role is a unique opportunity to create market leading technology solutions in a ‘start-up’ environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Act as a catalyst for innovation, across both our existing portfolio and in identifying areas for future investment
- Continuously monitor the external competitor, technology, customer and partner landscapes for potential opportunities
- Proactively identify opportunities to collaborate with external partners / alliances in order to generate and incubate innovation concepts.
- Leverage our Group Technology, and VOIS teams to identify and prioritise opportunities by potential value
- Incubate selected innovation initiatives, driving the creation of Proof of Concepts and monitoring success and ROI
- Work closely with the VOIS teams to identify experimentation and innovation opportunities, and in turn embed these into BAU
Who you are
- An open and curious mind, with the ability to make connections others don’t see.
- Understanding of the ICT market and its current and future technology trends
- Experience of/exposure to product management and proposition development
- Commercial mindset and customer focus
- The ability to create a future vision, and the drive to galvanise an organisation behind it.
- Excellent influencing and stakeholder management skills
