What you’ll do
The Group Entities Fraud Manager will be responsible for managing the fraud risks relevant to Vodafone Group Entities which include Vodafone Business (VB), Vodafone Carrier Services (VCS), and Vodafone Roaming Services (VRS). Fraud risks will cover both external and internal fraud relevant to Group Entities processes, products, services, and customers.
- Fraud Risk Assessments (FRA) on processes within Group Entities:
- Create an FRA Plan, by identifying the processes which are vulnerable to fraud and agreeing prioritisation with business owners.
- Perform comprehensive Fraud Risk Assessments (FRAs) as per the FRA Plan. The FRAs must comply with policy requirements and provide the business with practical recommendations to enable them to better mitigate the fraud risks it faces.
- Monitor and track all FRA actions through to completion or to an agreed level of closure, that results in the residual risk being below tolerance.
- Fraud Risk Assessments on new products and services being developed and launched.
- Assess the fraud vulnerabilities within new products and services, ensuring gaps are closed prior to launch, and products are monitored for fraud as required.
- Deliver fraud training programmes and awareness campaigns across Group Entities.
- Investigate incidents of fraud affecting VB customers within VBI and IoT.
- Support the GCS&R Investigations Team, as required, on investigations related to Group Entities.
- Support the wider GCS&R Team on projects linked to the Fraud Strategy and Fraud Policy.
- Ensure continued professional development so fraud knowledge is kept up to date and can be applied effectively within the role.
Who you are
- Relevant experience in risk management, internal control evaluation, audit and compliance, or any other assurance function on a related field involving the assessment of controls and identification of potential vulnerabilities.
- Ability to build relationships, collaborate effectively with various departments and individuals within the organization, and possess strong influencing and negotiating skills
- Analytical thinking, with an ability to critically evaluate information, identify root causes and develop logical solutions.
- Ability to deliver in dynamic, high-growth, high-uncertainty environments with strong focus on real execution.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information clearly and effectively to diverse audiences.
- A broad understanding of mobile/fixed telephony networks and related services.
