What you’ll do
We are building out our analytics, modelling and insight team for Credit Risk, Billing and Collections. We are looking for a strong manager able to help shape the future of the newly-formed Reporting team to support and grow the existing team members in skills and experience and build up our suite of centralised reporting. We have a wealth of data sources through which this team can unlock profitable growth and customer value for both our Consumer and Enterprise businesses.
As a Insights & Reporting Manager you will be responsible for defining & delivering the reporting roadmap, identifying opportunities across the team for the continuous improvement of our decision making. This includes all management information, reporting, visualisation and initiative tracking for BCRC, providing insights and recommendations from the reporting as well as the production of said reports. You will also feed into the long term strategy with regard to data sources and technology adoption as well as coaching the existing team. Key accountabilities include:
- Deliver baseline reporting across the function, providing a centralised suite of regular reports for use by wider teams and for feeding into business stakeholders to monitor trends and performance.
- Develop standardised approaches/pipelines for tracking performance of initiatives implemented
- Own and maintain the Reporting roadmap; working closely with Business Partners, Analytics team and Data Governance team within DA&DS and wider BCRC stakeholders to align on prioritisation
- Proactively draw insight from available data sources, driving business change and improving the Credit and Collections landscape.
- Identifying opportunities to enhance the technology, skillset and data available within the team.
Who you are
- Extensive experience of SAS, Teradata, SQL and Excel as well as proven capability in model building.
- Highly numerate, analytical thinker. Able to identify opportunities and drive insight and appropriate action from data.
- Proven communication skills. Ability to translate complex data into insights and to uphold challenge and discussion with senior managers and stakeholders from across the business.
- Leadership skills and capability to build a team and deliver a strategy and roadmap of activities.
