What you'll do
We're recruiting for a Senior Internal Auditor to join our UK Internal Audit team here at Vodafone UK. As a Senior Internal Auditor, you will work closely with the Head of Audit to ensure the timely execution of risk-based technology audits in accordance with the audit plan, ensuring Vodafone’s technology landscape remains resilient, secure, and compliant with policies and best practices.
Wider responsibilities will also include:
- Develop a good rapport and solid business relationships with key stakeholders to ensure understanding and acceptance of internal audit requirements, approach, and reporting methods.
- Lead the planning, execution, and reporting of risk-based technology audits.
- Provide subject matter expertise in areas that may include IT service management, operations, network resilience, and information security to deliver impactful audit outcomes.
- Incorporate the use of data analytics within the audit approach to increase the extent of assurance, quality of insight, and efficiency of our audits.
- Recommend and implement ideas for improving the Internal Audit Department.
- Provide insightful results through audit reporting process.
- Stay abreast of developments in 5G, IoT and other cutting-edge technologies to deliver high-quality assurance across diverse topics and operating contexts.
Who you are
- Demonstrable background in Internal Audit, preferably with a ‘Big 4’ practice background.
- Expertise in IT governance, controls, and risk management (e.g., ITIL, COBIT, ISO standards).
- Technical knowledge in areas that may include IT operations, IT service management, technology resilience, information security, and operating systems.
- Technically savvy, with a broad working knowledge of audit software and the Microsoft Office365 suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.)
- Experienced in working within complex multinational and/or multi-cultural environments.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and conflict management skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the organisation.
