Performance Manager

Location: Newbury + Hybrid
Salary: Excellent basic salary plus bonus and Vodafone benefits
Working hours: Full time 37.5 hours per week – Mon to Fri

What you’ll do


Role purpose:
To drive performance management in MES, leading the Performance Management element of Operational Excellence. This includes the MES health check and performance metrics, the workforce management tool and Management Operating System, leading the Red First Retention programme and other transformation activities. Supported by the Continuous Improvement Manager and our Data Analyst.

 

Key accountabilities and decision ownership:

  • Oversee the efficiency and health check performance of MES, in collaboration with Operations. 
  • Own and drive the scheduling performance within the new workforce management tool and Management Operating System.
  • Lead the Red First Retention programme, focusing on both organic growth and account retention. 
  • Support the ongoing transformation of the Centre of Excellence.

Who you are


Core competencies, knowledge and experience:

  • Full understanding of productivity metrics: availability, utilisation, effectiveness.
  • Experience of working with operations to identify and implement lean processes to improve productivity.
  • Experience of driving cost savings across through reduction of duplication and implementation of Efficiencies and Innovations to process and delivery.
  • Experience of Benefit Management to drive performance and financial improvements.
  • Experience of managing KPI and MI reporting process (including the assessment of exception reporting) and target review process.

 

Key performance indicators:

  • Experience of Lean, Systems Thinking and other improvement techniques
  • Commercial knowledge & understanding. Produce monthly and annual Efficiency & Performance Reports to support all levels of Contract Governance and adherence to the MOS.
