What you’ll do


Healthcare systems across the UK are under pressure from ageing populations and scarce resources, and digitalisation presents an opportunity for structural change. Spurred on by the Covid pandemic, national governments and the EU are planning to spend tens of billions of Pounds on digital health initiatives in the next five years. This presents Vodafone Business with the opportunity to generate substantial incremental revenue growth and contribute to Vodafone’s Digital Society ambitions by improving citizens’ access to, and outcomes from, healthcare. 


Vodafone in Health has been created as a unique sector vertical, across the public and private healthcare sectors, recongnising the potential to accelerate Vodafone’s propositions into health, building on the Vodafone Centre for Health with Deloitte ambitions to combine Vodafone’s leading portfolio of connectivity services with Deloitte’s global healthcare consulting and delivery expertise to deliver solutions to fulfil that ambition. 


The Principal Consultant’s primary role will be to assist Sales teams in creating and realising pipeline opportunities across our Health customer base, both locally and nationally. This is a client-facing role that supports the sales activities of the Vodafone UK Business sales channels covering both the public and private sectors. You will provide support to address the key challenges of the Health sector around Demand Management, Elective Care backlog, Virtual Care, Workforce and Fiscal challenges.

 

Who you are  


You will have extensive pre-sales/solution design experience in a customer facing role within the Healthcare sector:

• Understands and able to lead Pre-Sales/Solution & Service Design consultants.
• Proven record of designing high level technical sales strategies to support successful business growth.
• Capable of working in a matrix organisation and able to build strong relationship and credibility with Board/ Executives both internally and externally.
• Good leadership skills being able to lead and motivate pre-sales teams, with a proven record of building people and organisational capability.
• Knowledge of the communications market; technical, market and customer drivers.
• The ability to translate customer need to technical solution.
• Degree or equivalent
• Industry recognised technical accreditations
