What you’ll do
We're recruiting for a Data Strategy Programme Manager to join our Finance Data & Analytics team here at Vodafone UK.
As a Data Strategy Programme Manager, you will be responsible for the Data Quality & Integrity Program (DQI), which will focus on automated assurance for our EDW data warehouse, source system data integrity and data quality remediation. The role will be accountable for delivering, monitoring, and reporting the programme plan to time, cost & quality.
As a trusted advisor, you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams, influence stakeholders, and continuously drive innovation, by way of:
- Programme Leadership: Manage end-to-end programme delivery, including planning, execution, and monitoring of multiple related projects, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and priorities.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment throughout the programme lifecycle.
- Risk and Issue Management: Proactively identify program risks and issues, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure swift resolution to maintain program momentum.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, business analysts, developers, and other key team members to ensure seamless collaboration, resource allocation, and problem-solving across teams.
- Budget & Resource Management: Oversee program budgets, resource planning, and timelines to ensure programs are delivered efficiently, maximizing both financial and human resources.
- Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement by analysing programme outcomes, identifying areas for optimization, and implementing best practices.
- Reporting & Documentation: Provide regular status updates, progress reports, and post-program reviews to key stakeholders, ensuring visibility and transparency.
Who you are
- Extensive cross-functional and end-to-end technical project or programme delivery experience.
- Experience with delivery frameworks (e.g. Waterfall/Agile) and methodologies (e.g. Prince2/ SAFe)
- Experience of managing cross-cultural teams with an ability to manage, motivate & develop a direct team in a matrix environment.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills across a spectrum of seniority and business areas.
