Location: Glasgow + Hybrid

Join our Vodafone Business Technology Solutions team, where we support businesses of all sizes with world-class technology solutions. We design and develop our Fixed Line solutions, drive efficiency through automation and AI, and implement it all directly with our customers.
What you’ll do
We are looking for someone to provide Line Management and the leadership of Project, Programme & PMO resources who are at varying levels in their careers & who are specifically dedicated to the Scottish Power Energy Networks (SPEN) account.
You will passionately drive and maintain a positive, valued, high performing culture within the team and the Project community at large. As a Line Manager, you will empower team members to take full ownership of their respective roles and the activities which they are responsible for, whilst being accountable for the team members performance and the outcomes that they provide to our customers and stakeholders alike.
You will also lead key initiatives of continuous improvement for Professional Services and will be an advocate of change so that Professional Services develop its value-add propositions, improve services and maintain its competitive, revenue driven position.
Who you are
- Relevant previous experience in people and performance management and managing multi-disciplined teams, having full responsibility for the end-to-end employee lifecycle.
- Operational experience of working within a Professional Services environment where resources are allocated to Delivery Functions in accordance with the demand requests.
- Through the use of excellent communication and organisational skills, ability to create and develop highly effective colleagues to support the core delivery organisation.
- Advanced knowledge of industry standard project management delivery methodologies and the ability to ensure these are rigorously applied by all team members.
- Knowledge of Waterfall and Agile methodologies is expected, and should have or previously held Prince 2 Practitioner qualification.
- Experience operating within a Project delivery environment
- Experience of direct line management of internal colleagues
