Salary: Excellent basic salary plus bonus and Vodafone benefits

What you’ll do

 

We're recruiting for a Supply Chain Business Partner to join our Networks team at Vodafone UK. As a Supply Chain Business Partner, you will be assigned to internal stakeholder groups and be responsible for building strong relationships across several functions and be the ambassador of Supply Chain Management, creating credibility and driving commercial savings throughout the Supply Chain.

 

This role also entails the utilisation of BI tools (Iview, Celonis, etc.) to identify opportunities, as well as leveraging the global sourcing function at the Vodafone Procurement Company (VPC) and Design-to-Cost methodology to support sourcing and to ensure maximum value is achieved through our key contracts. 

 

Wider responsibilities will also include:

• Ensure that robust commercial governance is in place with key third party suppliers and manage supply chain audit requirements mandated by the customer.
• Identify and deliver commercial best practices and synergy benefits through effective collaboration with peers in other operating companies, and Global Supply Chain.
• Act as a true business partner in managing stakeholder relations at all levels including senior stakeholders.

Who You Are

• Strong background in commercial contract management with large financial value
• Demonstrable Category Management experience, with a clear understanding of local industry trends as well as economic dynamics and commercial models.
• An ability to develop commercial contracts based on thorough understanding of legal and ethical environments and contract related KPIs.
• Demand Optimisation - Analyse data and generate insights to question and influence local business requirements to optimize demand linked to local business strategy and budget.
• Excellent procurement/contract negotiation skills to achieve best commercial outcome for Vodafone.
• Robust understanding of business, with an aptitude for building sustainable relationships to drive increased business performance and best value outcomes.
