What you’ll do
We have an exciting senior opportunity for a Senior Manager Business Strategy to join our Commercial B2B function. In this role you will be responsible for driving the strategic vision and execution for our B2B business unit.
Collaborating with senior stakeholders across Network, Strategy, Wholesale, Consumer and Vodafone Group you will be developing and implementing an integrated strategy to achieve sustainable growth, competitive differentiation and relevance in the market across Vodafone Business.
- Lead the annual strategic planning process, review business performance, identify market opportunities, and create commercial strategies.
- Ensure long-term strategic alignment across Product, Marketing, Sales, Commercial, Networks, Wholesale, and Consumer.
- Integrate external market trends, competitive intelligence, and customer insights into the strategic planning process.
- Provide thought leadership on Vodafone’s strategic options and responses to market trends.
- Identify, assess, and develop business cases for new high-growth revenue opportunities.
- Lead the development of the industry analyst plan for VBUK, including content, message, and narrative development for key events
Who you are
- Proven experience as a strategic leader with a background in corporate strategy or strategy consultancy, ideally working in the Technology or Telecommunications sector.
- Strong academic background with BA in Business, Strategy or Economics related field.
- Strong commercial acumen and financial literacy: comfortable leading and creating business cases, plans, and leading others to deliver quality outputs
- Strategic Vision: Ability to see the bigger picture and connect the dots across the organisation, and work across multiple time scales and planning cycles.
- Communication & Collaboration: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels. Specific C-Suite and GMT experience.
- Customer Focus: Passion for understanding and delivering on customer needs.
- Strategic Planning and Analysis: expertise in developing and executing business strategies, including market analysis, competitive positioning, and long-term planning from complex data.
