What you’ll do
This role leads the data governance and analytics strategy across ND&I, ensuring data quality, consistency, and insight generation. It drives the development of scalable data architecture, reporting frameworks, and governance models to enable informed decision-making and regulatory compliance.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
- Own and evolve the data governance framework, including data ownership, stewardship, and metadata standards.
- Enable data democratisation across ND&I and beyond, ensuring secure, scalable access to trusted data for decision-making and innovation.
- Design and maintain scalable data architecture, enabling efficient data transformation, mapping, and pipeline development.
- Lead data quality management, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and consistency through automated validation and issue resolution.
- Support business domains in automating KPI reporting and performance tracking, by standardising metric definitions, aligning data sources, and ensuring consistency across systems
- Translate business requirements into high-level and low-level data designs, enabling structured development and deployment of data solutions.
- Collaborate with OSS Strategy to align data initiatives with network strategy and work closely with OSS Development teams to support solution build, integration, and deployment.
- Oversee data lineage and documentation, including flow mapping, dictionaries, and metadata visualisation.
- Enable regulatory and operational reporting, including automation of recurring reports and development of reusable frameworks.
- Lead self-serve analytics enablement, empowering teams with dashboards, discovery tools, and training.
- Generate actionable insights, through deep-dives, trend analysis, and predictive modelling.
- Ensure compliance with data governance policies, including ethical data use and regulatory alignment.
- Collaborate closely with Process Excellence, CSI, and Digital Solutions & Tooling teams within the CSI&I workstream to ensure aligned data strategies, shared insights, and integrated process improvements
Who You Are
- Proven experience in leading data governance and analytics programmes.
- Experience in driving data democratisation initiatives, including self-serve analytics enablement and stakeholder training.
- Strong understanding of data architecture, pipelines, and transformation techniques.
- Experience with metadata management, lineage tools, and data quality frameworks.
- Skilled in reporting automation, dashboarding, and insight generation.
- Familiarity with telecoms data environments and regulatory reporting requirements.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills with experience in leading cross-functional programs.
KPIs
- % of data quality issues resolved within SLA.
- Adoption rate of self-serve analytics tools and dashboards.
- Accuracy and consistency of regulatory and operational reports.
- Number of insights generated and actions taken from analytics.
- Compliance rate with data governance standards and policies.
