We believe that through collaboration and connection with our colleagues we can achieve great things. Our hybrid working approach allows our people to work both in the office and at home, providing the flexibility and resources you need to succeed in your role. We don't require you to be in on specific days; instead, we ask people to come into the office 2-3 days each week, for at least 8 days per month. You should work with your line manager to understand what their expectations are for you, your specific role and your team.

The Opportunity
EPT shapes, prioritises, and governs the enterprise investment portfolio to ensure strategic alignment and value delivery. It drives transformation across the organisation by embedding consistent capital management and delivery practices, providing enterprise-wide performance insights, and improving efficiency, quality, and business outcomes.
Role Purpose:
The Enterprise Process Improvement Lead owns the continuous improvement and optimisation of the Enterprise Delivery Framework (EDF), which governs over £1bn in annual Capex investment across multiple portfolios and delivery engines.
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Enterprise Delivery Framework, you are accountable for the performance standards, measures and strategic improvement roadmap that ensure the enterprise plans, funds and delivers change with the right balance of pace, control and value.
You define and lead the EDF Continuous Improvement programme — using data, user insight and root cause analysis to prioritise and implement interventions that remove friction, reduce cost of failure and improve flow across the investment lifecycle. You oversee delivery of measurable gains in efficiency, predictability, quality and value realisation at enterprise scale.
Operating as the senior performance authority to Portfolio Leads, Programme Boards and Executive stakeholders, you set the performance agenda, challenge systemic inefficiency and embed a culture of transparency and operational excellence across organisational boundaries.
What you’ll do
This is a high-impact enterprise leadership role requiring strong systems thinking, analytical depth and the credibility to influence at executive level and deliver sustained operating model improvement.
