Manager Fixed Access Deployment
What you’ll do
- Manage Fixed network deployment team
- Responsible for planning and deployment activities related to FTTx and HFC networks
- Manage CAPEX and OPEX budget outline and forecasts.
- Align and co-ordinate local activities with global programs and strategies
Key Accountabilities:
- Day to day management and long-term development and succession planning for department of up to 10 people.
- Manage teams responsible for deployment of technologies and infrastructure in NGA networks to support business needs and to meet efficiency and quality standards.
- Manage department's projects to meet business plan requirements. Determine work priorities. Approve dimensioning rules/guidelines for design, dimensioning and optimization.
- Prepare overall Capex and Opex budget including re-forecasting. Monitor Capex and Opex actuals spending.
- Provide support to Sr. Fixed NTW Deployment, Strategic Planning, Finance and Procurement.
- Provide support to local&global procurement during price negotiations and RFP/RFQ.
- Organize work of the department with the aim to use company resources effectively. Manage the proper and seamless relationship and cooperation between other departments internally and externally with vendors.
- Ensure Health&Safety rules and business continuity approach are met. Manage and evaluate team performance, motivation and set priorities.
What skills we need
- Deep technical understanding and knowledge of the NGA technologies (GPON/xGPON, FTTx, CMTS_HFC) is a must
- Good knowledge of the passive FO infrastructure topics is expected
- Knowledge of transport technologies (MW, IP networks, DWDM) is an advantage
- Experience in similar positions 3 years
