About the role:

We are looking for an experienced telecommunications engineer specializing in ERICSSON Monitoring systems for a Czech telecommunications operator.

The candidate will work primarily for the Czech entity, with reporting to international group management.

Key responsibilities:

  • Technical collaboration with ERICSSON at vendor‑discussion level; ability to understand and critically assess vendor proposals
  • Creation of High‑Level Design (HLD) and Low‑Level Design (LLD) for the core and Transmission network
  • Development of the solution design for the new platform, including:
  • Integration into the Vodafone (VF) environment
  • Datacentre placement
  • Hardware configuration
  • Connectivity planning, capacity planning, and dimensioning
  • Solution design for new business requirements (assessment of feasibility and suitability within the VF CZ environment)
  • Lifecycle management of ERICSSON Monitoring platforms, including compliance with security requirements
  • Technical analyses, assessments, and orientation/understanding ERICSSON technology roadmaps
  • Cooperation with the project manager and operations teams during handover to production

 

 

Required experience and skills:

  • Very good technical knowledge of ERICSSON systems (ENM Core & Transmission monitoring platforms for core and transmission networks)
  • Experience with mobile networks (radio access, core, optical networks, etc.)
  • Proven experience with HLD/LLD creation and solution design
  • Ability to read and interpret vendor technical documentation
  • Experience with platform integration in a telecom environment
  • Knowledge of security requirements in telecom environments is an advantage
  • English at minimum B2 level (communication with international management and vendors)
