About The Role

We are seeking a Transformation Governance Lead to act as the central orchestrator of enterprise-wide transformation initiatives. This individual will align leadership priorities, embed strong governance practices, and ensure cross-functional collaboration to deliver sustainable operational and financial outcomes. The role requires a strategic thinker with deep expertise in governance frameworks, programme management, financial oversight, and stakeholder alignment.

What you’ll do

  • Define and lead the transformation framework and roadmap in alignment with strategic business priorities.
  • Establish and manage governance models, decision rights, escalation paths, and approval processes.
  • Institutionalise governance cadence including SteerCo, Working Groups, and PMO forums.
  • Ensure consistent tracking of progress, risks, dependencies, milestones, financials, and outcomes across the transformation portfolio.
  • Provide mobilisation support for SteerCo-linked programmes and liaise with PM Portfolio Leads for preparation and execution consistency.
  • Partner with Finance to manage budgets, investment tracking, and financial governance, including capex/opex oversight.
  • Support leadership in investment planning, prioritisation, and benefit delivery.
  • Coordinate cross-functional interdependencies and remove blockers to facilitate delivery.
  • Champion reporting excellence by ensuring accurate, timely, and data-backed insights for effective decision-making.
  • Build, develop, and lead a high-performing Transformation Office team comprising programme managers and analysts.
  • Oversee vendor engagement and contract governance, ensuring compliance with commercial and delivery commitments.
  • Support change management and capability uplift across business and transformation teams.
  • Promote consistent adoption of best practices, tools, and frameworks across programmes.

Who you are

  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership and influencing capability across diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Deep expertise in governance models, transformation frameworks, portfolio oversight, controls, and structures.
  • Proficiency in core programme management processes including integrated planning, risk management, dependency tracking, deliverable tracking, and programme reporting.
  • Strong understanding of programme lifecycle, interdependencies, and milestone management.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to synthesise complex information into meaningful insights.
  • Strong execution discipline and structured, solution-oriented thinking.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to craft narratives and frameworks.
  • Experience monitoring spend versus approved investments, including variance analysis and optimisation opportunities.
  • Possession of a recognised programme or project management certification such as PMP or SAFe Portfolio Lead.
