About this Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive individual to manage accounting and settlement activities for Roaming, Interconnect, Content and MVNO business streams. The role involves managing revenue and cost accounting, month-end close, reconciliations, financial reporting, and ensuring accurate settlements in line with contractual agreements and organisational controls.

What you’ll do

Manage settlement of revenue and costs for local market partners across Roaming, Interconnect, Content and MVNO businessesValidate costs with outsourced network partners and ensure accuracy of financial transactionsPrepare partner revenue payments and validate invoicesReconcile partner payments and support receipt setup within local marketsCreate invoices and credit notes for business partnersPrepare and post monthly revenue and cost journalsDeliver accurate and timely cash forecastsEnsure all invoicing, accounting, and reconciliations activities meet defined monthly schedulesPerform month-end and year-end close activities with accuracy and within timelinesManage intercompany accounts payable and receivable, ensuring balance agreements are signed off monthlyDesign and strengthen controls aligned with local market margin policiesEnsure adherence to system rules, authority levels, and service level agreementsProvide timely reporting of cost, revenue, and disputes, ensuring resolution as per contract termsCollaborate with third-party partners for invoicing, collections, and dispute managementEngage with local market leadership and internal stakeholders to meet business expectationsEnsure all processes meet approval standards, maintain integrity, and follow best practicesSupport Procure-to-Pay processes and ensure compliance with documented requirementsTake ownership of day-to-day operational issues and resolve them effectivelyIdentify opportunities to improve, simplify, and standardise processesContribute innovative ideas to enhance operational efficiency and team performance

Who you are

Graduate or Post-Graduate in Commerce1–3 years of experience in revenue and cost accounting, including month-end journals or similar processesStrong understanding of accounting principles and financial processesExperience in reporting, MIS, and analytical tasksKnowledge of the Australian telecom industry is desirableStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholdersDetail-oriented with a high level of accuracyProactive, responsible, and solution-focused approachAdaptable and able to perform in a dynamic work environmentAnalytical mindset with strong problem-solving ability
