About this Role
We are seeking an experienced Ab Initio Developer to design, develop, and implement complex ETL solutions using advanced Ab Initio technologies. This role involves collaborating with product owners and offshore teams to deliver strategic data integration projects, ensuring high-quality solutions that meet business needs. The position is based in Pune, India.
What you will do
- Lead or participate in defining, executing, and communicating ETL strategies and technical solutions.
- Design and develop data staging, architecture, and integration with internal and external application interfaces.
- Implement detailed functional designs and complex application components using Ab Initio tools such as GDE, EME, Control Center, Continuous Flows, ICFFs,
- Metadata Hub, Express>It, Micrographs, Web Services, MDW Framework, and Data Quality Assessment.
- Create low-level design documentation and functional mappings.
- Contribute to process adoption, resource optimisation, and tool utilisation to improve efficiency and quality across the organisation.
Who you are
- Extensive knowledge of data warehousing and ETL concepts.
- Strong hands-on experience with advanced Ab Initio tools and technologies.
- Proficient in SQL, UNIX/Linux, and scripting.
- Skilled in creating high-level design documentation and leading end-to-end solution implementation.
- Background in the telecommunications domain.
- Minimum 7–8 years of relevant experience.
- Educational qualifications: B.E/B.Tech, MCA, or M.Sc.
