About this Role

We are seeking an Amdocs MEC Implementation Expert to play a critical role in designing, governing and delivering Enterprise Product Catalogue solutions within Vodafone’s core BSS/OSS landscape. Based in Pune, this role sits within Telco IT GSL and focuses on bridging business needs and IT delivery, ensuring that Amdocs MEC solutions align with enterprise strategy, industry best practices, and evolving business demands.

What you will do

 

  • Act as the IT representative to business stakeholders and the business representative to IT teams for Amdocs MEC.
  • Lead the identification and analysis of business drivers to derive business, information, technical and solution requirements.
  • Analyse IT industry and market trends to assess their potential impact on the enterprise landscape.
  • Collaborate with Business Engagement Managers to understand solution needs from a product catalogue perspective.
  • Ensure implemented solutions meet business objectives and leverage industry best practices.
  • Work collaboratively with central and local technology stakeholders to ensure appropriate technology infrastructure supports delivery and operations.
  • Set clear objectives and deliverables for projects, providing technical guidance and direction to team members.
  • Drive innovation across IT domain processes and systems in collaboration with software providers, systems integrators and business teams.
  • Maximise the use of technology to simplify systems and processes, improving efficiency and enabling business growth.
  • Act as a conduit for external catalogue-related requests, providing clarity on catalogue direction and objectives.
  • Provide solution direction and guidance to other MEC designers and application teams to ensure successful delivery.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with business leads, technology leads, vendors and external partners.

Who you are

 

  • An experienced professional with a proven track record in defining and governing complex Product Catalogue architecture and solution designs in a telecom environment.
  • Knowledgeable in Product Catalogue Management, integrations, data design methodologies, coding standards, version control and continuous deployment practices.
  • Confident in translating business requirements into effective IT designs with a strong focus on re-use and standardisation.
  • Skilled in stakeholder engagement, influencing and decision-making within a matrix organisation.
  • Technically proficient in advanced SQL and Unix.
  • Familiar with designing telco products within an Enterprise Product Catalogue environment.
  • Comfortable working within agile delivery methodologies.
  • Academically qualified with any graduation, supported by experience in Enterprise Product Catalogue, telco processes and operations, and business architecture or analysis.
