About this Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive professional to manage third-party settlement accounting across Roaming, Interconnect, Content, and MVNO business streams. This role focuses on accurate margin accounting, revenue and cost booking, reconciliations, and month-end reporting, while ensuring robust controls, contractual compliance, and high-quality stakeholder engagement within local markets and across VOIS.

What you’ll do

Manage settlement of all costs and revenues for local market Roaming, Interconnect, Content, and MVNO partnersValidate costs with outsourced network and business partnersPrepare partner revenue payments and validate incoming invoicesReconcile partner payments and support local market receipt set-upsPrepare invoices and credit notes for business partnersPrepare and post monthly revenue and cost journalsDeliver accurate and timely cash forecastsComplete invoicing, accounting, and reconciliations as per monthly close schedulesEnsure all month-end and year-end close activities are completed accurately and on timeAccount for intercompany payables and receivables, ensuring monthly balance agreement sign-offs and settlementsDesign, implement, and maintain strong controls aligned to local market margin policiesEnsure adherence to system rules, approval matrices, authority levels, and service level agreementsProvide timely and accurate reporting of costs, revenues, and disputes (incoming and outgoing)Manage dispute resolution in line with contractual agreementsCollaborate with third parties, local market leadership, and VOIS leadership teams to meet and exceed expectationsTake ownership of day-to-day operational issues and support continuous service deliveryIdentify opportunities to improve, simplify, and standardise processes, acting as a change advocate within the team

Who you are

A commerce graduate or post-graduate with strong accounting fundamentalsExperienced in revenue and cost booking, month-end journals, and reconciliationsSkilled in reporting, MIS, and analytical analysisConfident in working with multiple stakeholders across geographies and organisational levelsDetail-focused, organised, and committed to accuracyProactive, adaptable, and comfortable working in a dynamic environmentMotivated by problem-solving and continuous improvementFamiliar with the Australian telecom industry or keen to build expertise in this area
