About this Role
We are seeking an experienced Automation Tester to join our BQA function in Pune. The role requires a strong foundation in software testing principles, particularly within the Telco domain. The individual will contribute both independently and as part of a team, ensuring quality delivery through manual testing techniques and stakeholder coordination. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and test management tools like Jira and Confluence is essential.
What you’ll do
- Apply software testing principles and methodologies to validate product quality
- Conduct manual testing across Telco applications and platforms
- Collaborate with stakeholders and team members to ensure seamless delivery
- Utilise bug tracking and test management tools such as Jira and Confluence
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to sprint deliverables
- Manage individual responsibilities while supporting team objectives
- Coordinate with stakeholders to align testing outcomes with business goals
Who you are
- Minimum 2 years of experience in software testing
- Strong understanding of STLC and SDLC
- Proficient in manual testing techniques
- Experience in the Telco domain
- Familiar with Agile methodologies
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
- Able to work independently and within a team
- Skilled in stakeholder management and coordination
