About this Role

We are seeking an experienced cloud and platform engineering professional to design, build, and operate scalable, secure, and highly available AWS infrastructure aligned to the CET‑EKS framework, observability (o11y) standards, and AWS Well‑Architected principles. This role plays a key part in enabling platform stability, automation, and continuous improvement for business‑critical applications through GitOps‑driven, zero‑touch operations.

What you’ll do

Design, implement, and operate AWS cloud infrastructure aligned with CET and CET‑EKS frameworks.Manage project‑driven integrations and day‑to‑day administration of AWS cloud platforms.Build, deploy, and maintain infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Terragrunt).Drive automation using CI/CD pipelines and GitOps practices with tools such as GitHub Actions and ArgoCD.Upgrade, patch, and maintain EKS clusters, including Bottlerocket AMI rotations and capacity management.Design and deploy hybrid connectivity solutions across CET‑based AWS accounts.Support observability platforms, including monitoring stacks, Grafana dashboards, and o11y components.Troubleshoot cloud infrastructure issues across networking, storage, performance, and security domains.Manage infrastructure‑level support for AWS services such as RDS, including upgrades and rightsizing.Implement cost optimisation measures using AWS Cost Explorer and Budgets.Maintain clear operational and architectural documentation on Confluence.Promote DevOps culture, peer reviews, and coding standards aligned to CET guidelines.Support platform lifecycle management and continuous improvement initiatives.

Who you are

An experienced cloud infrastructure and DevOps professional with strong hands‑on expertise in AWS and Kubernetes.Skilled in Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD pipelines, and GitOps‑based delivery models.Comfortable managing enterprise‑scale, business‑critical environments with a focus on reliability and security.Experienced in cloud networking, security, compliance, and platform troubleshooting.Confident working in Agile environments and collaborating across multiple technology teams.A clear communicator with strong documentation and stakeholder engagement skills.Educated to degree level in IT or a related discipline, with relevant industry experience in cloud or enterprise IT.
