About this Role

We are seeking an experienced cloud and platform professional to design, implement, and operate scalable, secure, and highly available AWS-based infrastructure aligned with the CET-EKS framework, observability (o11y) standards, and AWS Well-Architected principles. This role focuses on driving platform stability, automation, and continuous improvement for business-critical applications through GitOps-driven, zero-touch operations.

What you’ll do

Design, build, and operate AWS cloud infrastructure supporting CET and CET-EKS platforms.Deliver infrastructure automation using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Terragrunt) and CI/CD pipelines.Implement and manage GitOps practices using GitHub, ArgoCD, and Kubernetes.Upgrade, maintain, and support EKS clusters, CET-EKS observability stacks, and AWS RDS services.Manage hybrid connectivity and secure networking across AWS accounts.Drive Kubernetes platform lifecycle management, capacity planning, and AMI rotations.Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimise cloud infrastructure for performance, cost, and resilience.Support security, compliance, vulnerability management, and cost optimisation initiatives.Contribute to DevOps culture, documentation, and continuous improvement across the organisation.Share knowledge and help develop cloud capability within the team.

Who you are

An individual with strong hands-on experience in AWS cloud infrastructure and Kubernetes platforms.Experienced in EKS administration, Terraform-based IaC, and GitOps tooling.Comfortable working with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and ArgoCD.Skilled in troubleshooting cloud infrastructure, networking, storage, and performance issues.Knowledgeable in observability tooling including Grafana and monitoring stacks.Familiar with security, compliance, and cost management within AWS environments.Experienced in agile delivery models and enterprise IT environments.A clear communicator who values documentation and collaborative problem-solving.Degree-qualified in IT or equivalent experience, with several years in cloud or enterprise IT roles.
