About this Role
We are seeking an Agile Delivery Manager to own squad-level delivery within Security Monitoring & Analytics, part of Global Cyber Security. You will focus on delivering committed outcomes predictably through effective planning, tracking, dependency management, risk and issue management, stakeholder alignment and transparent reporting.
Working closely with the Technical Product Owner, Tech Leads and Release Train Engineer, you will support PI readiness, effective sprint execution and timely escalation when delivery is at risk. Agile practices and ceremonies will enable delivery outcomes, with a strong focus on flow, transparency and continuous improvement.
What you’ll do
Own the end-to-end squad delivery lifecycle, including delivery plans, milestones, sequencing and commitments aligned with PI objectives.
Improve delivery predictability and transparency by actively managing scope, timelines, capacity and delivery flow.
Maintain accurate, relevant and timely delivery reporting.
Identify, track and support the removal of blockers, escalating unresolved impediments and driving actions through to closure.
Manage squad-level risks, issues, actions and dependencies (RAID), ensuring clear ownership, mitigation and timely escalation.
Lead squad readiness and execution for PI Planning, including estimation, capacity planning, dependencies, risks and constraints.
Ensure PI Planning outputs are accurately produced, documented and shared.
Provide delivery governance and reporting covering sprint progress, delivery confidence, PI objectives, risks, issues, dependencies and adjustments against plan.
Contribute delivery information to PI, ART and leadership reporting where required.
Facilitate stand-ups, refinement, sprint planning, reviews and retrospectives, ensuring ceremonies remain focused on delivery outcomes.
Coach and support squad members in improving Agile ways of working and maintaining consistent delivery.
Follow through on improvement actions while supporting team morale and a sustainable delivery pace.
Work collaboratively across squads and stakeholder groups to manage dependencies and maintain delivery transparency.
Who you are
You have proven delivery management experience in complex, cross-functional environments, with a focus on delivery predictability, flow and transparency.
You have strong knowledge of SAFe and Agile delivery practices, including PI Planning, capacity planning, dependency management, forecasting and delivery reporting.
You proactively develop a detailed understanding of squad deliverables and accountabilities and use this insight to support effective planning and execution.
You have experience managing risks, issues, dependencies and impediments, with the ability to coordinate stakeholders and drive resolution.
You can balance capacity, scope, timelines and risks, applying sound judgement when delivery moves away from plan.
You have excellent stakeholder management, facilitation and communication skills, including the ability to provide transparent and timely escalation.
You have strong reporting and documentation capabilities and can translate delivery data into clear insights for stakeholders and leadership.
You have experience using tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira or Confluence for backlog management, delivery tracking and reporting.
Experience within Security Monitoring & Analytics or SOC modernisation programmes would be beneficial but is not essential.
Relevant certifications such as SAFe Scrum Master, PRINCE2, PMP or ITIL would be beneficial but are not essential.
