About this Role
We are seeking an Application & ETL Developer to design, develop and support enterprise-grade applications and ETL pipelines across legacy and modern platforms. This role combines full-stack application development with data engineering responsibilities, ensuring reliable data ingestion, transformation and delivery while maintaining high standards of performance, security and integration aligned to enterprise architecture.
What you’ll do
- Design, develop and maintain scalable applications using modern front-end and back-end technologies
- Build REST/API-based services and integrate them with databases and external systems
- Develop responsive and user-friendly UI components aligned to UX standards
- Ensure code quality, security, performance and scalability through established engineering best practices
- Participate in technical design discussions, code reviews and solution design activities
- Collaborate closely with product owners, architects, DevOps and QA teams across delivery cycles
- Develop and support ETL pipelines enabling reliable data ingestion and transformation
- Support CI/CD pipelines, deployments and production issue resolution
Who you are
- You bring 4–7 years of overall IT experience with strong full-stack development exposure
- You have hands-on experience with enterprise or large-scale application development
- You are proficient in databases such as SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle) and/or NoSQL, with exposure to Teradata
- You have front-end experience with React, Angular or Vue, along with HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript/TypeScript
- You have strong back-end experience in at least one of Java, Node.js, Python or Spring Boot
- You are experienced in building RESTful APIs, working with JSON and implementing authentication and authorisation
- You are familiar with Git, CI/CD pipelines and have basic exposure to Docker and cloud platforms (GCP, AWS or Azure)
- You have experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or equivalent; relevant certifications are an advantage
