About this Role

We are seeking a Business Analytics & Governance Trainee to support the Networks function through data-driven insights, structured reporting, and strong governance practices. This role is ideal for an individual with early experience in financial reporting and analysis who is keen to work closely with Finance, HR, and operational teams. Based in Pune (EON), the role focuses on performance measurement, forecasting, and reporting while contributing to process improvement and automation initiatives across Networks.

What you will do

  • Support the preparation and maintenance of business reports, dashboards, and performance metrics using Excel, Power BI, and similar tools.
  • Assist with data collection, validation, and basic analysis to ensure accuracy, consistency, and high data quality.
  • Contribute to improving and automating reporting processes using Python, Power Query, or other relevant automation tools.
  • Perform data quality checks and help maintain clear documentation of data definitions, metrics, and reporting logic.
  • Support governance-related activities by acting as a support SPOC for selected centre-specific processes, under guidance from senior team members.
  • Assist with project coordination activities, including tracking actions, timelines, and stakeholder inputs.
  • Prepare basic documentation, trackers, and status updates to enable structured and compliant ways of working.
  • Apply analytical thinking, attention to detail, and a strong interest in working with data and metrics.

Who you are

  • A finance graduate or B Tech professional with at least one year of experience in financial reporting and analysis.
  • An individual with strong analytical capability and a structured, detail-oriented approach to work.
  • Confident in English, with very good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Technically proficient in Excel, Power BI, Python, Power Query, and other relevant automation or analytics tools.
  • Comfortable working collaboratively across Finance, HR, and operational stakeholders within a matrix environment.
  • Curious, open-minded, and solution-oriented in approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
