About this Role
We are seeking an individual who will oversee the Multiversa application and ensure seamless payment file processing from billing systems using GigaBeam jobs. This role involves managing system health checks, resolving incident and work-order tickets, addressing data inaccuracies through corrective actions, and proactively preventing operational issues. The individual will support efficient business continuity in close collaboration with cross-functional teams.
What you will do
- Administer and maintain the Multiversa application and related payment file transfer processes.
- Perform daily system health checks and ensure operational stability.
- Manage incident tickets and work orders across departments, ensuring timely and accurate resolution.
- Implement corrective measures for erroneous data through manual intervention or defined workarounds.
- Collaborate with teams to restore business processes swiftly during disruptions.
- Apply best practices in IT operations such as incident, problem, change, release, and vendor management.
- Support continuous improvement by identifying operational gaps and proposing enhancements.
Who you are
- Skilled in managing payment-handling applications and telecom billing environments.
- Proficient in resolving production (L2) issues within application operations.
- Experienced in Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, Linux systems, and Unix/Shell scripting.
- Familiar with ticketing tools such as ITSM or Remedy.
- Able to communicate effectively, apply analytical thinking, and resolve problems proactively.
- Committed to operational excellence and collaborative service delivery.
