About this Role

We are seeking a Cortex Automation Developer to design, build and maintain intelligent automations that support IT Operations and business-as-usual activities. This role focuses on improving service reliability, operational efficiency and user experience through scalable automation solutions, close collaboration with cross‑functional teams, and proactive incident prevention. 

What you will do

  • Develop, enhance and maintain Cortex automations across applications, reporting and BAU processes. 
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including design documents aligned to user stories. 
  • Identify, analyse and resolve issues related to Cortex applications and automation workflows. 
  • Support stable system and service operations by preventing incidents and restoring services in line with agreed KPIs. 
  • Collaborate with colleagues and partners on incident, problem, change and release management activities. 
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying process, tooling and operational enhancements within IT Operations. 
  • Support automation, digitisation, capacity planning and service performance analysis initiatives. 
  • Communicate clearly and constructively with internal teams and suppliers to support timely resolution and delivery. 

Who you are

  • Experienced in Cortex automation development and scripting. 
  • Proficient in Python, Shell scripting, PowerShell and related automation technologies. 
  • Comfortable working across Linux and Windows environments, with knowledge of databases and SQL. 
  • Able to analyse issues logically, document solutions clearly and work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders. 

A graduate in any discipline, with a strong interest in automation and IT operations.
