About this Role
What you’ll do
- Design, develop and maintain scalable, reusable test automation frameworks.
- Develop automated test suites for functional, regression, integration, API and end-to-end testing.
- Automate Android and iOS applications using Appium and relevant mobile automation technologies.
- Develop and maintain API automation suites for backend systems and microservices.
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing practices.
- Analyse automation failures, identify root causes and collaborate with development teams to resolve issues efficiently.
- Enhance the stability, scalability, maintainability and performance of automation frameworks.
- Work closely with developers, product owners and QA teams to identify and mitigate quality risks early in the software delivery lifecycle.
- Maintain automation documentation, coding standards and testing guidelines.
- Explore and implement AI and LLM-based solutions to improve automation effectiveness and testing efficiency.
- Support performance, reliability and stability testing activities.
- Evaluate emerging tools and technologies to continuously improve test coverage, quality and automation outcomes.
Who you are
- Strong programming experience in Java and/or Python.
- Demonstrated expertise in Appium and Selenium automation frameworks.
- Experience in mobile automation across Android and iOS platforms.
- Hands-on experience with Flutter application testing and Appium Flutter Driver.
- Experience in API automation using REST Assured and Postman.
- Knowledge of TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber, Behave or equivalent testing frameworks.
- Strong understanding of Git, GitHub and/or GitLab, including branching strategies and code review practices.
- Experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins or similar tools.
- Familiarity with Gradle, Maven and build automation processes.
- Good understanding of REST APIs, JSON, HTTP protocols, OAuth2 authentication and API validation techniques.
- Experience working with UiAutomator2 and mobile application debugging.
- Knowledge of Docker and cloud-based device platforms such as BrowserStack.
- Working knowledge of AWS and cloud services.
- Experience leveraging LLMs and AI-assisted test automation capabilities.
- Understanding of performance and reliability testing approaches.
- Strong knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Excellent analytical, debugging and problem-solving skills.
