About this Role

We are seeking an experienced professional with strong expertise in Conversational AI and Generative AI technologies to design, develop, and optimise advanced chatbot and digital assistant solutions. This role involves working with IBM Watson, MS Copilot, Power Platform, and GCP Vertex AI to deliver multilingual, scalable, and intelligent virtual assistants. The individual will also lead prompt engineering, RAG system integration, and content ingestion strategies while ensuring seamless API orchestration and localisation

What you’ll do

Design and implement conversational flows and integrated journeys using IBM Watson Assistant and related platforms.Configure and manage API calls within orchestration layers for external system integration.Develop and optimise multilingual virtual assistants in 15+ languages using Watson and Google translation services.Conduct prompt optimisation, testing pipeline performance, and root-cause analysis for GenAI solutions.Implement and manage content ingestion solutions and ensure global conversational flow localisation.Apply GenAI knowledge to Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems and leverage GCP Vertex AI capabilities.Debug and configure Watson Assistant and Discovery services for enhanced performance.Engage in Agile delivery using SAFE methodologies and tools like Jira.Conduct training sessions, create documentation, and supervise handover of GenAI tasks to teams.

Who you are

Minimum 8+ years of experience in AI/ML, chatbot development, and Generative AI, including at least 1 year in MS Copilot development.Expert proficiency in IBM Watson, Power Platform, MS Copilot, and IBM Discovery services.Strong technical skills in Python, prompt engineering, and RAG system integration.Hands-on experience with GCP Vertex AI and Conversational AI platforms such as MS Bot, Dialogflow, and Oracle Digital Assistant.Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills with cultural awareness and emotional intelligence.Ability to work collaboratively across geographies and manage complex requirements.Education: BE or MBA equivalent from reputed institutions; certifications in IBM Watson Assistant and Discovery preferred.Basic understanding of Angular, Node.js, and custom web UI features is a plus.
