What you’ll do
Role purpose:
The Community of Practice is a core element of the VOIS Finance Services organization and plays a vital role in achieving our strategic goals, especially in terms of value generation and process simplification. Your key aim as Community lead for Asset and Project Accounting (FIXED ASSETS ACCOUNTING) and Intercompany is to successfully drive a global programme of process improvements, ensuring that those improvements are embedded into the existing organisation structures, and measuring the resulting improvements to process health.
Delivery of Finance Operations targets
Manage & Drive Operations:
• Own e2e design & policies for FIXED ASSETS ACCOUNTING and INTERCOMPANY process(es)
• Deliver process improvements & transformation (simplification, standardization, optimization)
to arrive at best in class processes
• Build, lead and manage the community to support you in setting the relevant operational and strategic targets in collaboration with various stakeholders from, VOIS Finance services, Group Finance etc.
• Drive your team to establish solid relationships with their peers from Group Finance, VOIS Finance services, Accenture and relevant further experts in non-finance domains e.g. IT across the globe to co-construct and deliver design effectiveness, process improvements, easing operations and simplifying our ways of working
• Review issues to identify process improvements, screen and evaluate innovative solutions, improve our set of KPIs and SLAs – all of this are examples of what will be under your remit of steering and guiding but it may not be limited to this.
• The role will actively support & drive 3 year transformation roadmap & deliverables for FIXED ASSETS ACCOUNTING and INTERCOMPANY.

Key accountabilities and decision ownership:
Establishing and leading the process community
• Setting the targets and driving the delivery in line with the Finance Services strategy, post alignment with Group Finance
• Senior Stakeholder management to align targets and roadmap and support delivery
• Build and drive a strong relationship with LM CFO management, LCS and VOIS Finance Services management, acting on behalf of the Head ARC and Head Finance Services where necessary
• Develop the community and its members to move to strong collaborative ways of working and be the pace maker in simplifying FinOps
Process Standardization and Simplification
• Define, implement and maintain a harmonised and standardized process framework covering all local markets managed in VOIS Finance Services
• Realise cross functional exchange and standardization in line with process landscape and management
• Provide the necessary governance of all relevant processes and FinOps projects worldwide in a functional dimension, which are significant drivers to achieve the business and performance targets.
• Analyse business needs and processes to develop efficient solutions and conduct respective improvement projects to optimise processes
• Translate business needs into qualitative and quantitative measures and track process efficiency and development
Who you are
Core competencies, knowledge and experience:
• Deep understanding of Fixed assets and Intercompany processes both hands on and as reviewer.
• Good understanding of SAP, ICO and Fixed Assets subledgers and relevant tools.
• leadership skills and long term experience in managing teams in a complex and changing/dynamic operating environment
• Strong expertise in Finance operating models and E2E operating processes
• Strong project & change management skills, proven Fixed Assets Accountability to structure and deliver complex process improvements
• Excellent communication skills; transparent and open nature
• Proven ability and experience in dealing with and influencing multiple stakeholders on senior level
Must have technical / professional qualifications:
• 15+ years of working experience in Finance
• Chartered Accountant / University degree, preferably in Business Administration, Economics, etc.
• High level of Leadership skills with an ability to manage a team in a diverse geographical location, minimum 4+ years of leading virtual teams
• Deep knowledge and understanding of operational finance processes, operating models and in telecommunications industry
• Very strong Project & Change Management; Great communicator
• Willingness to travel globally (minimum 20%)
• Excellent command of both written and spoken English
