About this Role
We are seeking a Citrix Administrator to support Citrix Operations within the GDC Wintel–Citrix function at VOIS. This role is positioned at Assistant Manager level and is aligned to the IM service line, with the opportunity to work in enterprise-scale virtualisation environments. The role is based in Pune or Bangalore and contributes to the ongoing delivery and stability of Citrix services used across the organisation.
What you will do
- Administer and support Citrix and Citrix Cloud environments to maintain high availability and performance.
- Design and support Citrix-based remote access solutions aligned with business and security requirements.
- Manage and support Azure Virtual Desktop platforms within a public cloud environment.
- Apply foundational knowledge of Azure public cloud services to support virtual desktop infrastructure.
- Support Windows Server and Windows Client operating systems in virtualised environments.
- Manage Active Directory objects, policies, and access controls.
- Implement and maintain Group Policy configurations.
- Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate routine operational tasks.
- Support application packaging and deployment using technologies such as ThinApp and MSIX.
Who you are
- Experienced in Citrix and Citrix Cloud administration, with a strong understanding of virtual desktop environments.
- Knowledgeable in Azure Virtual Desktop and core Azure public cloud concepts.
- Comfortable working with Windows Server, Windows Client operating systems, and Active Directory.
- Skilled in PowerShell scripting for automation and operational efficiency.
- Familiar with application packaging technologies such as ThinApp and MSIX.
- A collaborative problem-solver with clear, solution-oriented thinking.
- Able to communicate effectively and contribute positively within a technical operations team.
