About this Role

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Migration Specialist to lead and manage the migration of applications, data and infrastructure from legacy or existing platforms to modern cloud environments. You will assess requirements, plan and execute migrations, and help ensure minimal disruption to business operations. Based in Pune, this role requires practical experience with cloud migration methodologies, infrastructure administration, security hardening, automation and advanced technical troubleshooting.

What you’ll do

  • Assess, plan and execute migrations of applications, data and infrastructure to modern cloud platforms.
  • Perform migrations of virtual machines, databases, applications and data to Microsoft Azure using Azure Migrate, Azure Site Recovery and Azure Database Migration Service.
  • Collaborate with developers, database administrators, system administrators and other cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Monitor migrated environments to maintain performance, security, reliability and operational stability.
  • Troubleshoot migration-related issues, complete root-cause analysis and implement effective resolutions.
  • Deliver Level 3 infrastructure administration, including installation, configuration, monitoring and maintenance.
  • Identify, assess and remediate infrastructure vulnerabilities to support security compliance and reduce risk exposure.
  • Apply operating-system security-hardening practices in accordance with organisational and industry standards.
  • Use Bash, Python or similar scripting technologies to automate routine activities and support enterprise system automation.
  • Produce technical documentation and conduct knowledge-transfer sessions to enable ongoing maintenance and support.

Who you are

  • You have hands-on experience migrating platforms to cloud services or managed-instance environments.
  • You understand cloud migration methodologies and tools, particularly within Microsoft Azure.
  • You have experience with infrastructure technologies such as Linux, VMware and vCenter.
  • You hold a cloud certification relating to Azure, AWS or Google Cloud Platform.
  • You possess broad IT knowledge, including service delivery, operations and emerging technologies.
  • You understand ITIL frameworks and their practical application within IT service management.
  • You are familiar with relevant compliance and governance requirements, including GDPR.
  • You apply strong analytical, problem-solving and advanced troubleshooting skills.
  • You communicate clearly in writing and conversation, build trusted stakeholder relationships and work collaboratively across teams.
  • You follow through reliably on agreed actions and focus on achieving timely outcomes.
