About this Role

We are seeking a Commercial Bid & Pricing Specialist to support TAMs and senior TCS managers in the commercial design and preparation of new opportunities. You will contribute to pricing models, proposal artefacts and RFI/RFP responses, providing robust commercial analysis to support informed decision-making and effective deal execution.
You will work across a defined portfolio of contracts, workstreams or accounts, supporting simple contracts typically valued between €5 million and €20 million, including P*Q and Time & Materials (T&M) arrangements. This is an individual contributor role operating within a matrix environment, with responsibility for executing commercial activities and escalating exceptions appropriately.

What you’ll do

  • Support the coordination of RFI and RFP responses, including content development, scheduling and preparation of submission packs.
  • Support submission pack reviews with the TCS-Growth Manager, helping ensure readiness and timely sign-off.
  • Build, maintain and validate commercial pricing workbooks.
  • Perform sensitivity and what-if analyses to support commercial decision-making.
  • Support the development of pricing models that accurately reflect proposition profitability.
  • Coordinate with solutioning, pricing and commercial teams to meet agreed timelines and quality standards.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline information and support pipeline hygiene.
  • Ensure pricing workbooks are complete and accurate, with alignment between pricing models and final approved commercials.
  • Help minimise rework resulting from pricing, validation or compliance errors.
  • Escalate exceptions and potential commercial issues through appropriate governance channels.

Who you are

  • You have typically 7–10 years of overall professional experience, including 3–5 years in a relevant commercial support role within an IT or telecommunications environment.
  • You have strong commercial modelling, financial analysis and Microsoft Excel skills.
  • You have experience supporting commercial or contract activities and understand basic contract structures, governance and key risk drivers.
  • You demonstrate strong organisational skills, attention to detail and an ability to produce high-quality documentation.
  • You have an analytical mindset with effective data handling and validation capabilities.
  • You communicate clearly in writing and demonstrate reliable stakeholder follow-through.
  • You proactively identify potential issues and demonstrate learning agility.
  • Exposure to telecommunications or outsourcing environments is desirable.
  • You demonstrate Vodafone Spirit behaviours.
  • A postgraduate qualification in IT, Telecommunications, Business or Management is preferred.
