About this Role

We are seeking a commercially focused professional to support the day-to-day execution of contract and commercial management activities across a portfolio of small-to-medium technology and telecommunications contracts. This role is responsible for maintaining contract governance, supporting billing accuracy, tracking commercial performance, preparing commercial documentation, and providing foundational analysis to support financial and contractual outcomes. Working closely with delivery, finance, and customer stakeholders, the individual will ensure compliance with governance requirements while proactively identifying risks, supporting forecasting activities, and maintaining high-quality commercial records.

What you’ll do

Contract Management

  • Maintain contract records, documentation repositories, governance trackers, and commercial artefacts.
  • Support change control administration and maintain commercial risk and issue logs.
  • Provide accurate data inputs for forecasting, revenue reporting, and margin analysis.
  • Monitor billing and invoicing accuracy against agreed contractual values.
  • Track SLA performance, service credits, and potential value leakage items, escalating exceptions where appropriate.
  • Assist in preparing materials for contract renewals, amendments, and governance reviews.
  • Ensure contract documentation remains current, accurate, and aligned to governance standards.

Engagement & Governance

  • Coordinate routine interactions with internal delivery teams, finance functions, and customer stakeholders.
  • Act as a reliable point of contact for day-to-day commercial and contractual queries.
  • Escalate commercial risks, issues, or exceptions to Senior TAMs or Market-Specific TAMs.
  • Support the preparation of customer-facing updates, reports, presentations, and commercial artefacts.
  • Perform foundational financial analysis, variance analysis, data validation, and reporting activities.
  • Maintain forecasting inputs, performance trackers, and governance documentation.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives through updates to templates, logs, processes, and reporting methods.
  • Support adherence to contractual commitments, governance requirements, and commercial controls.

  • Timely completion of variance analysis activities.
  • Billing and invoicing accuracy against agreed contractual values.
  • High standards of reporting quality, accuracy, and completeness.
  • Effective maintenance of contract records and governance documentation.

Who you are

Essential Knowledge, Skills and Competencies

  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality documentation.
  • Foundational commercial understanding with awareness of contractual and accounting principles.
  • Clear written communication skills and the ability to build effective working relationships with stakeholders.
  • Analytical mindset with experience in data handling, validation and reporting.
  • Proactive approach to identifying issues and supporting their resolution.
  • Understanding of contractual risks and the ability to track actions through to closure.
  • Exposure to the telecommunications or outsourcing industry is advantageous.
  • Demonstration of Vodafone Spirit behaviours.

Experience

  • Experience in commercial support, contract administration or related commercial operations within IT, telecommunications or similar service-based environments.
  • Typically 7 to 10 years of overall professional experience, including 3 to 5 years in a relevant commercial support role.
  • Understanding of contract governance processes and basic contract structures.

Qualifications

  • Experience with Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) platforms or commercial management tools is preferred.
  • Formal education, training or qualifications in contracting, finance, business administration or a related discipline is preferred.
