What you’ll do

We are in search of a skilled Commercial Data Analyst to join our rapidly evolving team. The ideal candidate should possess not only a keen analytical eye but also a deep understanding of the telecoms sector. Your role will involve diving deep into data, extracting meaningful insights, and presenting them in a manner that drives commercial decisions. If you are a passionate data enthusiast with a commercial mindset and the ability to weave intricate data points into meaningful narratives, we invite you to be part of our team.

Key accountabilities

  • Data Visualisation and Reporting: Utilise Power BI to craft intuitive dashboards and visualizations that aid in data-driven decision making.
  • Data Analysis: Employ advanced Excel functions and custom formulas to perform intricate analyses of datasets.
  • Data Querying: Use SQL to extract, manipulate, and analyze complex datasets.
  • Problem Solving: Approach challenges with a problem-solving mindset, always seeking efficient and effective solutions
  • Requirement Gathering: Conduct meetings with internal customers to comprehend their data needs and translate them into actionable analytics requirements.

Core competencies, knowledge and experience

  • Experience with AWS/GCP data management platforms
  • Proficiency in Power BI, Excel, Python and SQL .
  • Exceptional analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Strong commercial acumen and understanding of business dynamics.
  • A passion for turning data into actionable insights.\

 

Must have technical / professional qualifications:

  • Python
  • Power BI
  • Cloud data platforms (S3, Redshift/Big Data Query, Cloud SQL,Looker)
  • PowerpointExcel
