About the role

We are seeking a Credit to Collections Analyst to join our Finance Shared Services Centre (FSSC) team in Pune. This role is responsible for cash application, collections support, account reconciliation, reporting, and stakeholder query resolution. The successful candidate will work closely with local markets, treasury, accounts payable, payment teams, leadership teams, and customers to ensure accurate receivables management, timely issue resolution, and adherence to audit and process requirements. The role requires strong accounting knowledge, analytical capability, effective communication skills, and the ability to manage high volumes of work within defined timelines.

What you’ll do

Perform cash application activities accurately and within agreed timelines.Support collections activities and contribute to reducing Days Sales Outstanding (DSO).Prepare and provide Statements of Account and account reconciliations to support collection teams.Investigate and resolve customer and stakeholder queries in a timely manner.Support local markets while ensuring audit requirements are consistently met.Compile, deliver, analyse, and maintain operational and financial reports.Recommend corrective actions based on report findings and business requirements.Liaise with internal teams including Treasury, Accounts Payable, and Payment teams.Support continuous improvement initiatives and adherence to Global Process Owner (GPO) timelines.Contribute to process optimisation through automation, Lean practices, and efficiency improvements.Produce and support reporting including:
  • Daily cash position reporting
  • Daily invoicing and billing volume reporting
  • Debtors ageing trial balance reports
  • Daily receipt clearing activities
  • Month-end accounts receivable reporting
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Bad debt and receivables reporting
Maintain open, transparent, and collaborative communication with key stakeholders

Who you are

Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Master's degree in Finance, or Diploma in Finance.Knowledge of end-to-end Order to Cash processes.Understanding of collections processes, accounts receivable activities, accounting principles, and journal entries.Experience in cash application processes.Strong Microsoft Excel skills for reconciliations and receivables reporting.Knowledge of ERP systems, preferably Oracle and/or SAP.Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to collaborate effectively with multiple stakeholders.Understanding of B2B customer environments and debt collection processes.Awareness of telecom industry operations is advantageous.Knowledge of forecasting tools used for cash flow prediction is desirable.Ability to recommend and support best-practice solutions for business requirements.
